Our client is looking for SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR located in Metro Detroit (100% REMOTE)
SUMMARY
Ensures the integrity and availability of systems and enterprise infrastructure by daily monitoring and maintenance of applications and systems, including Active Directory, Imaging, E-mail, Thunderhead, Guidewire, and Peoplesoft.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installing, updating, configuring, and monitoring applications / systems in collaboration with IT teams.
- Investigating and resolving software and hardware issues using problem management procedures.
- Coordinating scheduled maintenance and unscheduled outages.
- Generating standard statistical reports and creating application documentation as needed.
- Providing timely problem resolution in line with customer expectations and procedural guidelines.
- Offering support to peers during problem resolution, including after-hours assistance.
- Leading crisis calls and communicating updates to users, supervisors, and management.
- Acting as a liaison between IT and business units for assigned applications / systems.
- Providing technical direction and basic training to business units as necessary.
- Ensuring application licensing compliance and coordinating licensing programs with vendors.
- Developing and maintaining defined processes for application support.
- Serving as a contributing member or leader of project teams to achieve project goals.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree or four to six years of relevant experience; equivalent combination of education and experience
- may be considered.
- OnBase Document Imaging experience is highly preferred
- Privilege Access Management solutions are highly preferred
