Position Overview : We are seeking a qualified attorney to join our Oil, Gas & Energy practice group. The ideal candidate will have experience in energy law, with a focus on oil, gas, and energy sectors. This role involves advising clients on regulatory compliance, negotiating and drafting agreements, and representing clients in litigation and before regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Regulatory Compliance : Advise clients on matters related to oil and gas operations, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Contract Negotiation and Drafting : Negotiate, review, and prepare surface agreements, mineral leases, and other related contracts.
• Litigation : Represent clients in disputes over surface agreements, mineral leases, payment of rents and royalties, and other related matters.
• Title Work : Prosecute and defend dormant mineral actions, quiet title actions, and perform other curative title work related to mineral interests.
• Trusts and Estate Planning : Assist in establishing mineral-related trusts and limited liability companies for the protection and management of mineral interests.
