Job Description
Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Project Manager / Scheduler to support large-scale construction projects in the Trenton, NJ area. The ideal project manager will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service.
- This is a hybrid opportunity. Job can be mostly remote, with jobsite visits a few times a month.
Responsibilities :
Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilizedEnsure application of best practice on all projectsProduction of formal project status reports and other reports as requiredMonitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctlyManage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviewsManage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communicationsForecast and update key project milestonesManage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteriaProvide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholdersRapid response to RFIs from the fieldProvide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where requiredIndependent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliersClient management assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunitiesStrategic Thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients' objectives and business objectivesKnowledge management ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is capturedProcess improvement Identify ways to improve internal systems and processesSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.Strong organizational and management skills ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.Effective presentation skills.Familiar with Primavera P6 preferred.Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.Strong communication skills.Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $110K-$130K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
