Industrial Engineers are involved in Process Mapping, Capacity Planning, Manpower Planning, Factory Layout, Line Balancing, Simulation and Process Modeling, Labor Performance Analysis, and Project Management.
• What you will do
• Analyze manufacturing system performance to identify undesirable effects and opportunities for improvement.
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate constraints, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
• Create process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show manufacturing processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key metrics.
• Contribute to strategic roadmaps focused on factory capacity, Manufacturing Technology insertion, infrastructure improvements, obsolescence mitigation, and the integration of new capabilities.
• Partner with project managers and factory support functions to improve modify the factory footprint and layout of factory equipment as needed.
• Support program contract proposals, business case development for future investments, supplier assessments, and Make / Buy / Where analyses.
• Qualifications you must have :
• Typically requires : Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. Preferred majors are :
• Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering.
• minimum of 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Experience / Education with CAD software
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required,
• as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Clearance.
• Qualifications We Prefer :
• Experience / Education with simulation modeling and capacity analysis
• Experience / Education with factory layout and work cell design / optimization
• Experience / Education with project management
• Experience / Education with CAD software
• Six Sigma certifications

• The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
