System Engineer (F-16 System Design) - Level 2

Job Description

You will be the System Engineer for the F-16 System Design team. Our team is part of a fifty-year legacy integrating new capabilities and technologies into the combat-proven international multi-role fighter, known as the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

What You Will Be Doing

As the System Engineer you will be a creative problem-solver, who meets commitments, communicates effectively, and can learn new information quickly.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Applying technical principles, theories, and systems engineering concepts
• Translating customer needs into hardware and software design requirements and specifications

This position is in Fort Worth, TX

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills and strong Interpersonal Skills
• Strong / Demonstrated Systems Engineering skills
• Familiarity with the system engineering best practices
• Experience working on Agile teams and / or projects
• Ability to implement engineering design principles to break down complex system design challenges into manageable tasks and subtasks
• Ability to implement engineering design principles to derive system-level and subsystem-level requirements and specifications
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate across engineering functional domains to derive system-level and subsystem-level requirements and specifications
