Patient Care Assistant

A company is looking for a Patient Care Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)

Safely transports patients within the unit and monitors them to prevent falls or pulling lines / tubes

Completes assignments as directed by RN and documents patient status in the electronic medical record

Required Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
