Senior Project Manager
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks.
This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
Projects will include Design / Build of Mixed-Use Development, Modernization of DGS Facility, and Waste / Recycling Center.
Responsibilities
- Will be expected to provide day-to-day project management leadership on an average of three projects at any one time. The projects will typically be staggered between different phases (planning, design, construction, and closeout).
- Direct and oversee completion of project
- Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
- Assess risks and establish contingency plans
- Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
- 5+ years of experience managing projects from design phase through construction and commissioning / turnover
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
- Experience working on public utilities and infrastructure projects is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
- Experience working on projects in an urban setting and with Net Zero certification will also be a plus, but not a prerequisite.
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with a team
