    • For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile \(FBM\) team has supported the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense\.     • Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile\.
    • In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities :
    • In this role, you will support, mentor, and motivate a manufacturing team of supervisors and ordnance mechanics to meet operational safety, quality, and productivity goals\. You will utilize root\-cause analysis and continuous improvement tools to develop solutions and implement systems to meet specific compliance standards in a complex, zero\-defect, security\-focused manufacturing environment\. The successful candidate for this position will be a self\-managing, action\-oriented individual focused on developing and supporting a high\-performing team while delivering business results\.

    • Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Silverdale, WA, and will be expected to work in the office\.
    • Basic Qualifications :
    • Basic Qualifications :

      To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications :

    • 5\+ years of supervisory experience\.
    • Previous professional experience with scheduling, production, and / or processing requirements related to ordnance operations\.
    • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills\.
    • Experience within Root Cause Analysis \(RCA\) and / or Continuous Improvement \(CI\) events\.
    • You will need to be a US Citizen \(no dual citizens\), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\.
    • Please note :

    • No clearance is required to apply but an Interim Secret clearance is needed prior to starting\.
    • Qualify for, and maintain participation in, the Navy's Personnel Reliability Program \(PRP\)\.
    • Qualify for and maintain participation in the Nuclear Weapons Radiological Controls Program \(NWRCO\)\.

      To be effective, ideally, you should also have :

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience / combined education\.
    • Leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership \(FSL\) imperatives\.
    • Experience collecting and analyzing metrics to make data\-based decisions\.
    • Experience supervising hourly employees within a unionized workplace\.
    • Experience working in the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program at any field site or other support site\.
    • Green Belt certification\.

    • Onsite Full\-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
    • Work Schedules :
    • Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
    • Schedule for this Position :
    • 9x80 every other Friday off
    • Pay Rate :
    • The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 \- $159,045\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.
    • Benefits offered :
    • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
