Job descriptionAssist in the building, maintenance, and repair of injection molds for plastic part production. Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and engineering specifications. Operate manual and CNC equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines. Participate in mold changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. Work closely with senior toolmakers and engineering teams to understand mold design and manufacturing processes. Follow safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks. High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in or completion of a related technical / vocational program is a plus. Some experience working with manual and / or CNC equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines is a plus. Basic understanding of machining tools, measuring equipment, and mechanical principles. Interest in machining techniques and plastic manufacturing processes. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
