As a Security Guard- Government Center - Full Time in Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and reporting any unusual activities while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.

Monitor activity within the location and report any suspicious behavior or incidents according to site protocols.

Assist visitors and employees with questions or concerns, offering directions and information as needed.

Document all incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.

Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities when appropriate to address incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

Experience working at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
