Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for potential security-related concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel. Work in accordance with Allied Universal standards while adapting to the unique requirements of a government environment. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or the public as needed during patrols and interactions. Complete required reports and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner. A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack are present. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Guard - Government Site Patrol Unarmed in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and thorough routine patrols. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site.
