Schedule : Full Time : Remote, salaried position with travel

Position Summary

The Field Service Engineer role requires a motivated, self-starter who is able to work remotely with minimal supervision. You will spend a majority of your time at customer locations, with travel up to 5 days per week with more extensive travel on an as-needed basis. Build / maintain relationships as a customer facing member of the team while supporting service activities at customer facilities. You will provide maintenance, repairs, upgrades, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation in our Midwest Region. Primary service area comprised of one or more of the following states : Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky with travel to surrounding regions on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will reside in / near Lexington, KY, or Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive / general maintenance, breakdown repair, troubleshooting and corrective actions to analytical and metallographic instrumentation
• Perform new instrumentation installations as well as updates and upgrade kit installations
• Provide training on theory, operation, software, and good maintenance practices
• Ensure the work above is performed in accordance with LECO's ISO accreditation
