Consulting with clients to ensure optimal meeting outcomes, the full-time remote Sourcing Manager - Event Venues will create and submit proposal requests, source and contract hotels and venues, and negotiate favorable terms for meetings and events. Key responsibilities Understand client meeting goals and objectives while providing consultative recommendations on venues and contracts Distribute and analyze supplier Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings Manage amendments, cancellation requests, and maintain updated records in CVENT Required qualifications CVENT experience is required; certification is preferred Proven hotel sourcing and contracting experience in meetings management Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience Travel industry and destination knowledge is a plus International experience and certifications such as CMP or CMM are advantageous
