Northrop Grumman's Space Systems - Propulsions Division is currently looking for a Manager Systems Engineering 2 to manage systems engineering support of solid rocket motor projects at our Promontory, UT location with periodic assignments at our Bacchus (Magna), UT location.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• The Systems Engineering Manager is responsible for all systems engineering support required to meet program demands assigned to their group which may include NASA products, defense, strategic and commercial products.
• They are responsible to work with the Chief Engineers and Program Leadership to support key program objectives.
• Systems Engineers at Propulsion Systems actively participate in the development of new solid rocket motor or booster level systems and system upgrades by managing architecture, requirements, verification, and integrated change control processes in a disciplined, broad reaching process, to ensure our propulsion systems projects perform to specification, satisfy customer needs, and maintain configuration integrity throughout the lifecycle of each product.
• The systems engineering manager will continue to support the projects they are assigned, typically in a lead role, in addition to personnel management responsibilities.

Primary Level Salary Range : $139,100.00 - $208,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
