Senior Electrical Engineer to join the New Product Development team, work on design and validation that includes LED and integrated control devices.

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead electrical engineering design and development to bring new and improved products to market
- Develop specifications and validate performance for electrical design architectures including LED modules, LED drivers, sensors and controls, and wiring
- Influence, review, and critique others’ designs, ensuring best practices are followed and lessons learned are incorporated
- Perform technology landscaping and provide pragmatic analysis on findings and potential commercial applications
- Support existing products by owning electronics related design changes and cost reduction activities carried out by engineering teams
- Create electronic equipment required for manufacturing and provide support to implement and assist with manufacturing testing
- Provide support to customer service and field service teams on electrical engineering related topics
- Provide hands-on support for failure analysis and corrective actions for internal and customer related quality issues
- Identify and provide strategic commentary to our supplier and industry partners to assure we stay on the leading edge for electronics capability and quality
What you need to bring to this winning team :
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
- 5-10 years of professional experience in Electronics Engineering
- Demonstrated success leading projects with cross functional teams
- In depth knowledge of schematic capture software, PCBA design, and gerber file creation
- Demonstrated proficiency in LabVIEW is required. Knowledge of MATLAB and LTspice preferred.
- Experience / familiarity with use of electrical test equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, AC / DC power supplies, data acquisition equipment is required
- Good soldering and electrical assembly and debugging skills will be an asset
- Team player with excellent communications and collaborative skills with the ability to develop / review options for best solution
