Lead Applied Scientist

A company is looking for a Lead Applied Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy neuro-symbolic AI systems integrating neural learning with structured knowledge representation

Build multi-modal models that synthesize insights across various data types and domain-specific artifacts

Lead end-to-end research deliverables from ideation to production deployment

Required Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field (or Master's with equivalent experience)

7+ years of experience building production IR / NLP systems with demonstrated business impact

Strong software engineering capabilities with experience in production code and MLOps

Proficiency in AI evaluation, quality assessment, and observability for production systems

Experience with neuro-symbolic AI architectures and multi-modal modeling
