Job Overview This role completes the annual budget, performs month‑end close functions, and compiles income statements. Responsibilities Complete monthly billing, sales tax reports, patient refund reports, and bank reconciliations. Prepare analytic projects, reports, and financial analysis, including audit and cost reporting schedules. Assist with accounts payable issues when needed. Prepare and post all necessary journal entries, ensuring sufficient and accurate accounting records. Initiate quality improvements. Analyze financial and statistical data and provide quality information for decision‑making and regulatory purposes. Perform other related duties as required. Education Required – Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. A minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. Work Experience Required – 2 years of relevant accounting experience working with little supervision (with degree). A minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience (without degree). Certifications Preferred – Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals. Working knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. Excellent organization and time‑management skills and ability to effectively perform several tasks simultaneously. Strong analytic and problem‑solving skills and ability to be self‑directed.
