Customer Support Representative

Major document management company seeks Customer Support Representative with 2-3 years customer service experience in the print industry to provide support for custom digital & offset print production orders for client. Primary Responsibilities* Possesses skills and competencies to deliver contracted customer requirements; Tasks and activities are defined and routine * Point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs * Operate office equipment (printer, copier, fax) * Problem-solve issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements for vended (custom print) output * Perform quality inspection of customer order information * Estimate, schedule and track incoming vended production jobs * Inspect files for problem areas, including fonts, image resolution * Modify document layouts and impositions to achieve desired finished results * Apply color management, color correction, trapping and image editing where applicable * File/document conversion (utilizing standard software) * Maintain reporting logs and information for billing * Perform minimal training to customer end-users on web based ordering systems when requested * Establishes key relationships with customers and Xerox approved vendors Skills * Ability to demonstrate computer skills - Functional knowledge of PC (keyboard functions, mouse, etc) * Ability to demonstrate Advanced use of:MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Web / Internet / Intranet * Able to demonstrate ability to send and receive emails, find, open and save documents and files, perform data entry * Able to demonstrate the ability use internet explorer for web browsing, send documents to preconfigured printer * Business maturity and professionalism Experience * Experience in a Customer Service environment in Print Industry (minimum 2 years) * 3-5+ years of relevant experience Education * Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent * Required: Post high school technology training or experience * Specialized training/education as required; graphic arts, imaging science or print technology, network or multiple operating systems
