Job Description

Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. This role is based in Davenport, IA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you'll do :

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing technology and processes at our rapidly expanding Davenport, Iowa facility.

Besides the regular responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer (ME), this person will serve as a resource for junior MEs in problem-solving and in the development and refinement of products and processes.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs complicated and difficult Manufacturing Engineering assignments of major complexity under only general direction, requiring a high degree of technical and professional competence.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting independent technical projects.
• Develops and refines methodology for tracking, evaluating, and controlling production costs.
• Determines, documents, and communications "best practices" to be adhered to in the design and processing of parts or assemblies.
• Analyzes, evaluates, and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve the solution to complex technical problems.
• May supervise / coordinate day-to-cay activities of others as assigned, insuring the timely completion of technical projects.
• Conducts investigations or tests of considerable complexity pertaining to the development of new manufacturing methods and exploration of product and / or process problems.
• Performs all operations according to prescribed safety and environmental principles.
• All other related duties as assigned.
