What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents.

Assist with monitoring entrances and exits, as well as controlling access to restricted areas within the healthcare location.

Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.

Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions to emergency responders.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or security-related observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.

Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue environments.

Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
