We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources within our organization, based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage a wide range of HR functions, from recruitment and employee relations to compliance and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee the full recruitment process, including onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Manage employee relations by addressing grievances, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring open communication.
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and HR regulations, maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures.
- Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities.
- Monitor and manage performance review processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Collaborate with leadership to create a culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior management on HR-related matters.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Experience in the non-profit or human services sector is a plus.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and guide teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
