POSITION OVERVIEW

26 Weeks a year - $50K Bonus for CRNA in ND - W2 or 1099 - Commuters Welcome

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preoperative Assessment : Evaluate patients' medical histories and conduct thorough assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Anesthesia Administration : Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia during surgical or diagnostic procedures, monitoring patients closely for any signs of adverse reactions.
  • Monitoring : Continuously monitor patients' vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, etc.) during procedures and adjust anesthetic levels as needed to maintain patient safety and comfort.
  • Postoperative Care : Oversee patients' recovery from anesthesia, ensuring proper management of any pain or complications.
  • Emergency Response : Be prepared to manage any anesthesia-related emergencies, such as allergic reactions, airway obstructions, or cardiovascular issues.
  • Collaborative Care : Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures.

    • IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education : Doctoral degree (DNP or DNAP) from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  • Experience : Relevant anesthesia experience required.
  • Licensing :

    • Registered Nurse's License.

  • CRNA Certification.
  • ACLS, PALS, and BLS required.
  • DEA License.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to values of compassion, inclusion, excellence, and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in blocks, lumbar punctures, and intubation is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with the Meditech EHR system is a bonus.
