Position Summary – This position will be responsible for providing onsite technical services to customers in support of Mission Critical Cooling Systems. Executing the delivery of installation, startup, commissioning support, remedial and preventative maintenance services in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Participate in system deployment projects to deliver installation, startup and commissioning support services.
- Assist in fault isolation of electro-mechanical systems and identify necessary parts to resolve customer equipment failures.
- Respond onsite to dispatches within required timeframes as specified in customer service level agreements (SLAs) for scheduled and unscheduled service requests.
- Participate in the development of service bulletins, procedures, process improvements and other collateral duties as required.
- Maintain accurate customer service records and reports within the Case Management System / CRM.
- Contribute to the creation of Knowledge Articles and other technical-related documentation.
- Serve as a resource to sales personnel for assigned service area and recommend process improvements to manuals.
- Contribute to training course content development and provide field training to customers and other field service personnel as required.
- Maintain knowledge of new products and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills
Proven experience in maintenance and facilities management.Hands-on expertise in maintaining conveyance systems, forklift equipment, dock equipment and powered industrial trucks.Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, signage and exterior building structure.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches and verbal instructions.Proficiency in high-voltage electrical installations and diagnostics.Experience in measuring and controlling electrical parameters and preventative maintenance for production equipment.Strong organizational skills for ordering parts and maintaining accurate documentation.Adherence to safety standards and procedures when working with electrical and mechanical systems.Hands-on expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production systems.Position Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service or a similar technical support related position.Associate degree from a two-year college / technical school with a certificate in an IT Hardware-related discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior experience working within Data Center environments.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to apply technical knowledge to identify root causes and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to read basic product drawings, electrical schematics and technical specifications; manage priorities effectively.Availability to travel with little notice and work extended hours, including a 24 / 7 on-call rotation if required.Experience reading electrical schematics and working with 200–440-volt equipment; prior experience with electro-mechanical equipment, servos, sensors and actuators.Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and repair experience; willing to travel when needed.Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of working at customer facilities standing, lifting, bending, kneeling, etc.; must be able to lift to 75 pounds at times.Travel may be required up to approximately 20% of the time.City
