What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders, adhering to all applicable local and organizational guidelines. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when possible. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including transportation areas and facilities. Monitor for and report suspicious activity to help to deter criminal or unauthorized behavior within the transportation environment. Assist with access control and verification of credentials for individuals entering restricted areas. Prepare clear and concise written reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed to support incident response at the location. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
