Job Summary :
This position will coordinate strong partnerships between the school district and local businesses, providing resources and support to families, and supporting the initiatives of the Family Engagement Center. The Community & Business Partner Liaison is responsible for supporting student achievement and well-being by promoting family and community involvement in education and creating learning experiences for students through collaboration with community and business partners.
Essential Functions :

Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and stakeholders to secure resources and support for district initiatives.
- Coordinate business partnerships and community collaborations that enhance educational opportunities and services for students and families.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, events, and activities to engage community partners in school district programs.
- Provide families with information and access to district and community resources, including educational, health, and social services.
- Develop and distribute materials that inform families about available resources, programs, and services.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for parents and guardians to support student learning and development.
- Coordinate activities related to daily operations of the Family Engagement Center
- Communicate district activities, programs, initiatives, etc. to all to community members and business owners.
- Develop and nurture relationship with community members and business owners.
- Work with school leadership and teachers to maintain accurate data on community programs
- Works closely with the school leadership in the development of individualized plans for parents.

Occasionally lifting, pulling, or pushing during the normal performances of tasks and responsibilities as required. The work requires frequent walking and standing. This position involves working in a standard office environment and off-site locations for meetings and events.
Occasional evening and weekend hours are required to accommodate community events and programs.Qualifications :
Minimum Associate degree or two (2) years of related Community Engagement experience preferred.Possess hands-on experience in the area of community relations and building partnershipsTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Exempt. Twelve months. Salary as approved by the Board of Education after consideration of the recommendation of the Superintendent.
