Full-time : 4 day, 10 hour shift, rotating Saturday

Animal Hospital of Las Cruces is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You

As a Vet Tech, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to surgery assistance, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Experience & Skills Requirements :

• Veterinary technician licensure preferred, not required
• 1-2 years of clinical experience
• Outstanding communication skills
• Proficient with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and injection administration skills
• Full knowledge to set up and position patients for digital radiographs
• Experience with in house labs and cytology tests
• Proficient with anesthesia, surgery, and dental prophylaxis
• Saturday availability

We are open Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am-4pm
