To support database management initiatives, the full-time Senior MongoDB Administrator will manage database performance tuning, failover and recovery strategies, and migration projects while providing on-call support in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Administer and maintain database permissions, ensuring secure connectivity and integrity Lead database migration projects from on-premises and AWS-hosted databases to NoSQL Diagnose and resolve complex database issues, providing 24x7 support as needed Required qualifications Proven experience as a DBA with expertise in NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB Extensive experience with AWS MongoDB RDS database services Solid experience in database failover recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning Proficiency in MongoDB Query Language (MQL) and database design Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call support for major incidents
