Job description
New graduates… A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) career with Interior Health Authority in British Columbia is full of opportunities to grow and advance!

New graduate SLPs can choose employment with our Early Childhood Development Regional Program or in Acute Care Communication and Swallowing with inpatients/outpatients; areas covered are ICU, general surgical, neurosurgical, medical, rehab, stroke unit, trauma, and psychiatry.

All new graduates will be provided the opportunity to identify their preferences for a position during the recruitment process. Whatever your interest, we have something for you.


IH’s Allied Health Transition to Practice Mentorship Program is designed to support and guide new entrant speech-language pathologists as they embark on their careers with us. It is our commitment to fostering growth, skill development, and excellence in Allied Health practices. New Entrants are provided opportunity to build knowledge, confidence and competence as they transition into careers within IH.
