Manufacturing Engineer
Role : Manufacturing / Quality Engineer
Duration : 12, 24 & 36 Months
Description :
Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process.
At this level, projects are of limited scope and responsibility; work plans and decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by
supervisors and / or managers. May assign coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel and contractors.
The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
- Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- At least 1 - 2 years' of engineering experience
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
Skills :
- Basic computer skills including windows preferred
- AutoCAD is helpful
- Experience with ME or QE in manufacturing environment involved in the assembly of product
- Provide daily manufacturing engineering and quality engineering support to existing assembly line.
- Maintain assembly documentation. Investigate and resolve quality issues. Investigate and implement continuous improvement ideas.
Enhance existing mistake-proofing solutions.
- Eliminate ergonomic risks.
- Knowledge and experience with computer aided design systems (Creo) creating 3D models and 2D drawings, Matlab, welding, Lathe, etc. (if have any)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
