Pay Rate : Minimum $16.20 hr. - Maximum $18.50 hr.
Our wage ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation that may also include incentives, benefits, and other opportunities at PODS. In accordance with New York, Colorado, California, Washington and other applicable laws, PODS is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the current wage range is listed below.

Responsible for all facets of forklift operations; including but not limited to the loading and unloading of Flatbed Trailers. This includes containers, kits, inventory, or any other item being shipped or received. Responsibilities may include other forklift operations when needed. During slow periods, forklift operator may be required to perform other non-forklift duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to complete forklift training and safely operate a 21,000 lb. capacity forkliftAdhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner including adherence to OSHA regulationsComplete daily forklift inspection reports and maintain records onsiteNotify Hub manager of needed forklift repairsFuel forkliftMaintain the forklift to ensure it is kept clean and in good repairFollow AM SOP by printing routes & pulling ancillary when assignedUtilize TMW Management System to add assigned containers and print / time stamp waybills, manifests, and trip sheetsCheck Shipment documents for container assignment accuracy, make sure all loading checks are made, and are signed off on the manifest for each containerMaintain container inventoryEnsure that all full containers are staged appropriately to ensure timely loading on outbound trucks.Inspect each container for PODs brand standards i.e. damaged or missing signs, structural damage, missing hardwareWhen required repair damaged containersAssist Hub Manager with Routing when neededMaintain contact with drivers as needed, assisting them with their daily routesAssist with ensuring a safe and clean working environmentHub / Yard clean upMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedGeneral Benefits & Other Compensation :

High School diploma or equivalent0-2 years storage center experience preferred2-5 years large forklift experience requiredAbility to obtain Forklift Driver CertificationPossess basic computer skills i.e. knowledge of Microsoft Office and Web based Data Entry.Possess math skills sufficient to perform required dutiesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitorAbility to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and / or connected headset deviceWORKING CONDITIONS
Shift hours 600 - 1500; some additional hours may be required including Saturdays / Sundays; required to work overtime as needed.Travel requirements : NegligibleHub will NOT be climate controlled except for specific areas (Warehouse and Office).
