Senior Auditor Public Accounting $80k - $100k + Bonus Hybrid - Milwaukee

Our CPA client is currently seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a crucial role in providing assurance services to clients, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing their financial processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Perform detailed testing of financial records, transactions, and internal controls to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to clients and internal stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Mentor and supervise junior audit team members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification or tracking required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, preferably within a CPA firm environment.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, and regulations (GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB).
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
