Therapist - Child and Adolescent Day Hospital - Elkridge, MD

The Child and Adolescent Day Hospital at Sheppard Pratt’s Baltimore / Washington Campus is a warm and welcoming environment for adolescents who need more clinically-intensive services than can be provided in an outpatient setting. Our interdisciplinary treatment teams engage patients in six and a half hours of therapeutic programming each day.

What to expect.

You will provide compassionate care to children and adolescents ages 12-17 .

Specific responsibilities will include :

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Offering supportive counseling and monitoring progress towards treatment goals.
• Collaborating with treatment team members to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes.
• Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to support holistic patient care .
