Driver Type 3 with Medical PUC Card / Installer

Schedule : Full-Time

T-Sat

Start time varies from 6 : 30 am, possible overtime and weekends required

Payrate : $19 / hr.

Job Description :

Do you have clean and safe motor vehicle operation record, timely delivery, and dependability? If so, then this driver position could be perfect for you. Successful drivers communicate clearly to the customer, deliver product on time and safely, and perform these roles while effectively managing their time. The ideal driver candidate will also handle a variety of warehouse equipment to support loading and unloading the truck in a timely manner.

• We support the appliance home deliveries for 90%+ of the Oahu Home Depots.
• Our delivery routes consist of an average of 12-15 home deliveries per day per truck. 80-100 deliveries per day collectively.
• Our delivery business days are Tuesday - Saturday
• An average of 80% of our deliveries are considered “full installations” – Unbox, deliver, install, remove all packing material and setup appliance for consumer use as well as perform haul away of old appliances.

Job Functions :

We take every opportunity to utilize the proper delivery equipment to minimize “muscling” product but there are instances where a two-person carry is unavoidable.

Requirements :

Type 3 driver’s license required this for position prefer box truck experience, but not a must.

Must be able to pass a medical examination to obtain Medical PUC card or already have a valid one

Will train installation piece as long as candidate is somewhat mechanically inclined.

Must be reliable and responsible to get to work on time.

Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills

Regularly lift and / or move objects 10-50lbs.

Have a good knowledge of island roads drive and deliver appliances to various locations on the island unload and load merchandise

Must be able to spend long hours standing, bending, walking, and stretching
