Job Summary :
As the Certified Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily housekeeping operations at 4101 Woolworth Ave Suite 4199 in Omaha, NE.
Your primary goal will be to ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of the facility are maintained at the highest level.
You will lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver exceptional services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and direct housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Plan and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Inspect rooms and common areas regularly to ensure they meet established cleanlinessstandards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to ensure consistent servicequality.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed while adhering tothe budgetary guidelines.
- Respond to guest complaints and special requests promptly, taking appropriate actions toresolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe workingenvironment for the housekeeping team.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to addresshousekeeping-related matters.
- Conduct regular training sessions for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills andknowledge.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including inventory, staffing, and cleaningschedules.
- Prepare reports for management on housekeeping performance and any related concerns.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or education is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping procedures, techniques, and materials.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverseteam.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks andpriorities effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills to interact with staff, management, and clients.
- Proficient in using computer software for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
