The operations manager is responsible for managing all aspects of operations and production on a portfolio of maintenance accounts including labor, materials, and equipment. This position reports directly to the branch manager and is responsible for managing a book of business at a minimum of $1 million. Essential functions and responsibilities include supporting company vision, policies, procedures, safety / training programs, performing inspections of equipment and vehicles, ensuring client requests are responded to in a timely manner, managing budget and monitoring job cost reports, managing and leading several teams, training employees on all aspects of job, working closely with the branch manager to lead the branch and meet monthly budgets, and more.
KPIs include quality control audits, safety inspections, contract renewal, quality jobs completed on time within the budgeted hours, customer surveys, equipment inspections, and more.
Education and experience qualifications include a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, 25 years of experience as a supervisor / manager, general knowledge of irrigation systems & turf management programs, and more.
Skills and abilities qualifications include excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to work independently with a high level of accountability and responsibility, strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong working knowledge of computers with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and more.
