Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide individual and group therapy to children with communication disorders.
Day-to-day tasks may include administering therapy sessions, tracking patient progress, and documenting therapy notes.
Qualifications
- Speech and Speech Therapy skills
- Experience working with children with communication disorders
- Articulation and Communication skills
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field is preferred
- State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is preferred
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication devices is a plus
