Superintendent Position

Due to their continued growth, I am seeking a Superintendent to join one of Charleston's top General Contractors in Construction. The company does a diverse portfolio of ground-up projects local to the area. Although, they are looking for someone with Civil, Structural and Architectural components for Multifamily and / or Mixed-use projects. This position is responsible for providing leadership and management to assigned projects in a safe, profitable, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities Include :

Capable of Building Layout and Interpreting Construction Documents

Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills

Coordinating with Project Managers, Engineers, Building Owners, and City Officials

Basic Computer Skills and Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (word, excel, outlook, Microsoft project, adobe)

Scheduling Subcontractors and Material Deliveries

Enforcing a Safe Work Environment and Other Site Controls

Knowledge of Commercial Building Systems to oversee Quality Installations of Concrete Foundations, Structural Steel, Masonry, EFIS, EPDM Roofing, etc...

Daily Reporting and Logging of Site Activities

Able to lift 50 lbs, trained to work 6 ft above ground in aerial platforms, and is fit to work in extreme outdoor environments.

You will provide feedback to estimators for use in future bidding or negotiations, especially subcontractor performance evaluations.
