Job description

Electrical Engineer

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive organization, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer. This role is responsible for developing analog circuits, validating electrical designs for embedded sensor systems, and supporting prototype builds and component selection in a high-performance engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical designs for sensor systems with embedded microprocessor architectures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, systems, software, and manufacturing teams
  • Select components, define PCB design parameters, and validate electrical / EMC performance
  • Coordinate prototype builds and conduct lab testing with industry-standard equipment
  • Analyze failure modes using DFMEA processes and simulation tools
  • Prepare and release design documentation including schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings
  • Work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to validate component selections

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Proficiency in analog circuit design and schematic interpretation
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters
  • Circuit simulation using Saber or equivalent tools
  • Strong analysis skills using Excel, Mathcad, or Maple
  • Familiarity with DFMEA, EMI concepts, and serial protocols (CAN, LIN, I²C, SPI)
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and functional safety standards
  • Proficient in soldering and lab-based diagnostics
  • Experience with Medini or similar safety tools
  • Understanding of structured problem-solving (DMAIC)
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis (MSE, ANOVA, SPC)
  • Experience with EMC and transient response testing
  • International travel readiness for training or validation activities
