Electrical Engineer
Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive organization, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer. This role is responsible for developing analog circuits, validating electrical designs for embedded sensor systems, and supporting prototype builds and component selection in a high-performance engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs for sensor systems with embedded microprocessor architectures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, systems, software, and manufacturing teams
- Select components, define PCB design parameters, and validate electrical / EMC performance
- Coordinate prototype builds and conduct lab testing with industry-standard equipment
- Analyze failure modes using DFMEA processes and simulation tools
- Prepare and release design documentation including schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings
- Work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to validate component selections
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)Proficiency in analog circuit design and schematic interpretationHands-on experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimetersCircuit simulation using Saber or equivalent toolsStrong analysis skills using Excel, Mathcad, or MapleFamiliarity with DFMEA, EMI concepts, and serial protocols (CAN, LIN, I²C, SPI)Knowledge of ISO 26262 and functional safety standardsProficient in soldering and lab-based diagnosticsExperience with Medini or similar safety toolsUnderstanding of structured problem-solving (DMAIC)Working knowledge of statistical analysis (MSE, ANOVA, SPC)Experience with EMC and transient response testingInternational travel readiness for training or validation activitiesWe offer industry-leading benefits options and are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) that values merit-based recruitment centered around technical ability, skillset, and alignment with our employing partners.
