Coordinating physician schedules for office-based procedures and outpatient services, the full-time Procedure Scheduler will manage complex scheduling tasks, facilitate timely completion of requests, and serve as a liaison between departments while telecommuting. Key responsibilities Coordinate scheduling of procedures and synchronize services with families and ancillary departments Facilitate timely completion of scheduling requests using internal referral management systems and request medical records as needed Act as a backup for division schedulers, managing appointments, referrals, and modifications as required Required qualifications Experience in scheduling or patient access coordination in a healthcare setting Proficiency with referral management systems and medical record requests Ability to handle complex scheduling and multi-disciplinary coordination Strong understanding of authorization processes for medical services High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification preferred
