Adolescents-GeriatricsJob duties : Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists. Subject patients to radiation.REQUIREMENTS :
- General Skills : IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACS
- Nuclear Med Procedure Experience : Cardiac, bone scan, brain scan, lung scan, renal flow, thyroid studies, SPECT, myocardial
- Certs : BLS, NMTCB [[ARRT preferred]]
- VA license (or) proof of application & proof of incumbent active license from another state and application of VA license
- Expereince : Min 2 years of Nuc Med Tech experience. Independent work is required. Traveler must be experienced and proficient.
- Seasoned travelers preferred. Manager will consider first-time travelers if Tech is very experienced.
