Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based case management unit focusing on oncology and related diagnoses Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm Patient population includes individuals with oncology and associated conditions Uses EPIC and Cerner EMRs; EPIC experience required No blocked or self-scheduling options available Locals accepted at the same rate Responsibilities include care coordination, patient teaching, telephone triage, venipuncture / phlebotomy, and appointment scheduling Candidates with scheduling, telephone triage, and venipuncture / phlebotomy experience are preferred Must complete pre-start and annual training modules; average 4-8 hours Return staff must have a minimum one-year gap since prior employment as a traveler No RTO allowed during the first two weeks of assignment; up to seven days RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred All time-off requests must be confirmed at the time of application and cannot be changed afterward First-time travelers are welcome to apply Holiday and regular orientation modules are self-reported Requirements Active, valid CA RN license required at time of application; EMSA not accepted BSN required Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent case management experience required Minimum 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience required EPIC experience required and must be documented in work history Cerner charting experience required Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care setting Two supervisory references required for consideration PASS / FAIL EKG exam required, with up to three attempts allowed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627842.
