Software Development Manager, Amazon Leo

Have you wanted an opportunity to develop the software applications and services for an advanced global telecom service The Leo Data platform team is responsible for telemetry networking data ingestion and serve internal customers with APIs and visualization layers to access this data. Our team owns developing the architecture solutions & roadmap for managing the customer lifecycle for telecom services. As the Software Development Manager you will lead a team of engineers to solve these problems.

Key job responsibilities

• Aid in the design and delivery of Telecom Components Applications and Services.
• Work with our peer teams and stakeholders to design suitable software systems and interfaces to fulfill the customer needs.
• Develop a strategic plan for the growth of the team both from a software services and organization perspective.
• Hire & Develop a diverse team of software engineers.
• Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Amazon Leo
• Help on-board and mentor new team members.

A day in the life

You will work with Product Management and Business Stakeholders on defining the roadmap for Leos customer lifecycle. You will own solving this for multiple customer segments and building software that is flexible for many different customers and countries.

About the team

The Leo Customer Experience team will own delivering delightful consistent interfaces across the Leo mobile application Leo website including the interplay between our app customer terminal (CT) and the Indoor Unit (IDU).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $166400 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $287700 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
