Job Summary

Summary : The Accounting Operations Assistant maintains a complete and systematic set of records of business transactions for the assigned business unit within the exciting Sport & Entertainment industry. This is an hourly role based on-site five, with some weekend availability required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage daily sales and reporting worksheets, process invoices, and troubleshoot any variances.

Ensure the timely and accurate completion of responsibilities related to month-end activities.

Prepare event reconciliations and assist in the production of financial reports.

Maintain and report daily labor costs

Assist in full cycle accounts receivable activities

Troubleshoot and update financial issues, including chargebacks and over payments.

Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, and computer printouts.

Summarize details in separate ledgers or computer files, transfer data to the general ledger, and reconcile and balance accounts.

Compile records to show statistics, such as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other pertinent items.

Interact with customers, resolve complaints, and relay relevant comments to supervisors in a courteous and friendly manner.

Assist the Controller with reports and weekly closing procedures.

Job Requirements and Skills

Must be proficient in Excel and possess strong data entry experience.

General knowledge of Accounting is required.

Experience with maintaining high-volume workbooks.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential.

Demonstrated desire for accuracy and organization in daily duties.

Proven ability to complete all projects in a timely manner12.

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Ability to support company initiatives while working directly with the Finance Manager and Senior Controller.
