Who You Are
The Associate Director / Director / Sr. Director, BD & Ops role will be a critically important player who owns & shapes scientific, operational, and external-facing facets of value-driving subsidiaries. This includes developing and owning the business plan, scientific plan, strategy, budget, and more. Success in this role requires a keen understanding of molecular biology, chemistry, translational medicine, clinical development, and a willingness to interpret & question scientific strategy. You will help boil down complex issues into bite-size, easy-to-understand information regarding the programs you cover from a scientific and business / financial perspective. The role will include responsibilities for competitive intelligence, NPV modeling, leading teams, and managing industry relationships. You will be relied upon to be a detailed and rational problem-solver who thinks independently, improvises, and inspires excellence.
Requirements : Responsibilities
- Learn quickly the scientific, operational, and external facing facets of Gondola programs
- Set, prioritize, and manage milestones & deliverables for team members in one or more of the Gondola programs
- Coordinate team meetings and delegate to technical experts in one or more of the Gondola Programs
- Interpret, collate, and communicate key data findings in a succinct manner to senior management
- Identify problems, locate the resources, and find data-driven solutions independent of supervision

PhD or MD from top-tier academic institutions or scientific undergrad with commensurate work experienceStrategic planning, operating, and program management experience working with a close-knit team at a biotech startup or top-tier pharmaManagement Consulting or Banking experience from top tier firmWhat We Offer

The actual compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. A bonus plan and equity will also be offered.
