Job Summary
Responsible for the management and handling of raw materials from the moment they are received until they are used in production. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and safety.
Leadership And Functional Responsibilities
- Possess knowledge in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite (Oracle ERP), SharePoint, Amazon Seller Central, NiceLabel, and LSI
- Effective communication using email and Microsoft Teams
- Verify pallets to ensure all bags meet quality standards and expectations
- Create pallet labels for various locations to align with shipping requirements
- Track pallet times, scrap bags, and scrap boxes
- Update production schedules in SharePoint
- Review and sign paperwork, production documents, and work orders
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to pull bags and pallets as needed, supporting efficient warehouse operations
- Adjust and manage scrap bags to maintain production accuracy
- Inventory duties include tracking bag counts and inventory items, managing bin transfers, and maintaining strict attention to detail with lot code numbers
- Load and unload products to and from delivery trailers and designated storage areas
- Conduct Trailer Inspections
- Move materials and items efficiently from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas to support workflow and inventory management
- Accurately sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code) to maintain organized inventory
- Accurately assemble customer orders from stock and stage them on pallets, shelves, or convey to packing / shipping departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Generate weekly bag lists using Microsoft Excel to support production planning
- Mark materials with identifying information to ensure proper tracking and organization
- Record quantities of materials or items received and distributed for accurate inventory control
- Weigh or count items to ensure compliance with company standards
- Prepare orders for shipping to support timely and accurate delivery
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness following 5S principles
- Team lifting up to 152 lb. green bean bags as needed
- Must obtain BRCC Forklift Certification, if necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations
Education And Skill Requirements
