Levis Building Components, a leader in the metal roofing accessories industry, is looking for the right person to join our expanding team. We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and optimization of electrical systems and equipment. Other key responsibilities would include the ability to :

Demonstrate strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently

Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor

Operate within SOPs and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations

Safely operate industrial equipment and regularly lift heavy materials

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures

Perform repairs and maintenance using electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance skills

Complete necessary daily paperwork accurately and legibly

Follow specific safety protocol and best-practice procedures

Read and follow diagrams, blueprints, operations manuals, and manufacturer instructions

Ensure all tools and equipment are in safe, working condition

Utilize work order system for maintenance tracking and reporting

Travel as necessary

Research and purchase of new equipment and tools

Obtain quotes on new equipment

Purchase parts as needed

Handle equipment tear downs, relocations, and installations

Develop preventative maintenance plans for equipment and facilities

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications :

3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance with strong electrical and mechanical skills
