Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate for this position will be working on the evolution of ANT’s test automation solution architecture, solution delivery. As a Developer the contributor will be developing new features, engaging customers and peers within the AT&T Mobility Core for the purpose of end-to-end test execution, customer engagement, educating or mentoring others; internal stakeholders, peers, team members and supplemental contractor resources.

• Drive platform development to solve problems encountered during mobility testing and monitoring in both lab and production.
• Seek adoption of automation usage penetration to compress timelines associated with the certification and deployment of new platforms while increasing quality and usability of the team’s tools portfolio.
• Work closely with customers to identify requirements, share development plans and manage expectations through periodic status updates, demos and feedback sessions.
• Drive clarity into the development and execution of a Test Automation Development Roadmap while supporting the team to deliver with quality, on time and budget.
• Drive Architecture and development of AT&T in-house Automated Networking Platform
• Contribution to the architecture of the overall product and bring efficiencies wherever possible.
• Explore new technologies which can help in improving the product and enable us to deliver faster.
• Adhere and promote the organization’s established Agile approach to software development using existing Scrum and JIRA resources.
• Assist in the evolution and sustainment of the team’s software-delivered solutions with an emphasis on the migration towards container-based deployments, Kubernetes and Azure.
• Design and development of ISSU and CI/CD based testing and deployment model.
• Promote test automation adoption within the various internal customer groups. Seek collaboration opportunities through the execution of Proof-of-Concept projects to enhance and expand AT&T’s overall capabilities and test automation portfolio.
• Seek to achieve compliance with internal AT&T Chief Security Office (CSO)to ensure developed applications are both robust and secure.
• The position will participate in a large team of technical individual subject matter experts and supplemental contractors with an emphasis on usability, re-use, quality and cost.

Experience

• 10+ year experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular and Angular Material
• 10+ year experience on UI framework Development
• 7+ years of experience in Node.js
• 10+ year experience with NoSQL Databases preferably MongoDB
• 10+ years of experience with Redis
• Excellent knowledge of implementing and consuming REST APIs
• Experienced with designing an end-to-end solution.
• Experienced in Mobile Telecom Product Development
• Knowledge of LTE / 5G Packet Core
• Hands on experience developing and maintaining software following OOP principles.
• Excellent knowledge of Design Patterns
• Good working knowledge of Linux and IP Network.
• 3+ Experience in K8s, Azure, Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Agile development methodologies and best practices
• Have first-hand experience with Production Deployments and supporting issues from Production
• Contributed or participated in a development of AI/ML (GenAI) based solution

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in an approved field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited university
