What Youll Do : Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate conflict resolution and communication skills. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious activity. Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency responders as directed during incidents or critical situations. Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related concerns or emergencies that may arise in the location. Minimum Requirements : Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be able to ride a bike. Possess a valid drivers license with Class B and passenger endorsement. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
