As an armed security guard in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more.

As an armed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will interact with the public, provide clear communication, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Friday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Saturday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sunday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, adapting to the unique requirements of a government environment.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and local authorities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• You must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or hold a college degree.
• You must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or have an equivalent qualification.
• You must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations.
• You must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• You must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• You must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
