Job description

STV is seeking a Project Manager to join our PM/CM Group in Seattle, Washington.

The Project Manager is responsible for organizing and leading cross-functional project activities to ensure successful delivery of construction projects. This role manages all phases of the project lifecycle—from proposal development and project initiation through execution, control, and closeout—while maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate cross-functional project activities to achieve project deliverables within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closeout for construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including extra work authorizations, change management, and invoicing.
  • Lead and support proposal development, project-specific marketing efforts, and client presentations to support successful project selection.
  • Plan and execute complete project delivery, including development and maintenance of project manuals and execution plans.
  • Work closely with senior managers to plan, schedule, and monitor staffing requirements against project budgets and performance.
  • Manage project elements, including scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, staffing, discipline requirements, procurement, resources, and risk.
  • Serve as STV’s senior on-site representative, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Support senior leadership as they pursue and procure new work opportunities within the local market sector.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist senior leaders in managing projects through preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout.
  • Strong understanding of project contracts, including terms, conditions, and scope of work.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with BIM, Primavera P6, Procore, or e-Builder is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as LEED, DBIA, PMP, CCM, RA, or PE are a plus, but not required.

Additional Information

This position requires a collaborative, client-focused professional who can balance technical expertise, leadership, and fiscal responsibility while delivering high-quality project outcomes for STV clients in the Seattle market.

Compensation Range:

Please note that the final salary offered for this position may be outside of this published range based on many factors, including but not limited to geography, education, experience, and/or certifications.

Not sure this role is the perfect match? We encourage you to apply if STV’s work and values resonate with you.
